Telecom regulator TRAI says India has 324.95 million Internet subscribers till September 2015.

India has 204.07 million narrowband subscribers, 120.88 million broadband subscribers, 19.60 million wired internet subscribers, 305.35 million wireless internet subscribers, 213.44 million urban internet subscribers and 111.51 million rural internet subscribers.

Total internet subscribers per 100 population was 25.73, urban internet subscribers per 100 population was 54.43 and rural internet subscribers per 100 population was 12.81, according to TRAI.

TRAI said the broadband Internet subscriber base grew 11.05% from 108.85 million in June 2015 to 120.88 million in September 2015. The narrowband Internet subscriber base declined 3.09 percent from 210.57 million in June 2015 to 204.07 million in September 2015.

109.89 MB was the data usage per subscriber per month for GSM operators and 316.37 MB was the data usage per subscriber per month for CDMA players. 120.11 MB was the combined data usage per subscriber per month for both GSM and CDMA operators.
