TIM to start talks with KKR to assess $11.8 bn offer

Telecom Italia (TIM) said it would start formal talks with KKR to assess the U.S. fund’s potential 10.8 billion euro ($11.8 billion) offer for Italy’s mobile network operator, almost four months after the approach.
