Nevales unveils new brand, launches next-gen security gateway appliance

Telecom Lead India: Nevales Networks, a provider of cloud-based managed security services, has launched its next generation Security Gateway appliance Nevales SG.

Talking about the new brand, Ravishankar, CEO of Nevales Networks said, “Considering the growth potential of the emerging businesses that India is bound to witness, the need to have a brand that can stand as an independent entity was strongly felt. Nevales has so far been operating under the radar focusing on R&D, technology innovation and building customer base. This change was important as the company was ready for official launch and public availability.”

Nevales SG comes with built-in support for wireline and wireless technologies including 2/3/4Gand Wi-Fi. With its futuristic form factor and smart design, the device can be easily wall mounted. The fan-less device specially designed for Indian weather condition, can withstand a temperature of up to 50 degrees.

Nevales SG uses Intel Atom Processor E600 Series that enables Nevales SG with faster computing, less heat, and better energy efficiency. The Nevales platform is a combination of an ‘On premise Security Gateway Device’ and ‘Cloud Services’.

The gateway appliance integrates several crucial security features such as Firewall, VPN, Intrusion Detection, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Surf Detection, Spyware Guarding, Access Management, Bandwidth Management, Traffic Monitoring and Efficient Reporting in a single management platform and is available on a subscription model.

The device provides real-time dynamic protection, reduces cost and complexities with its single security solution. Seamless Internet connectivity, misuse of applications, e-mail threats and malicious web access are all the security concerns of emerging businesses, which can be addressed through the Nevales Security Gateway.

Nevales SG provides the network with zero-day protection from internal and external attacks, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and other compromises, immediately upon deployment. It offers continuous proactive security updates and upgrades, and sophisticated applications can be used without worrying about their deployment, maintenance and management.
