Micromax brings 4G tablet with MediaTek processor

Micromax Informatics has launched its 4G tablet called the Canvas Tab P702 for Rs 7,999 in India.

The new Canvas Tab P702 features 7-inch HD IPS display, DTS sound dual box speakers, 3000mAh battery and MediaTek processor.

The Canvas Tab P702 is powered by MediaTek’s MT8735 processor which incorporates features like LTE cat.4, quad core operating at 1.3GHz, 3D graphics.

The new 4G dual SIM tablet gives 10 times faster than current 3G network speeds and at the same time promise better spectral efficiency ensuring low call drops. The tablet supports both TDD and FDD technologies.

Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone India are the existing 4G telecom network operators in India. Reliance Jio Infocomm is expecting to launch 4G services in the second half of 2016.

The 4G tablet comes with internal storage capacity of 16GB (expandable up to 32GB). Micromax says users can play HD games without any lags with best graphic experience, browse faster within apps and enjoy multitasking thanks to the 2GB RAM.

The tablet features DTS sound dual box speakers for a theatre like experience delivering loud and clear audio for better movie and music experience. Micromax is selling Canvas Tab P702 in two colors — black and white.
