Vodafone has emerged as the fastest 4G network in the Delhi NCR region in terms of its download speeds during July – September 2019, according to Ookla.
These results are based on speed tests done by 4G users across the Delhi NCR region, Vodafone Idea said in a statement on Monday.
“Ookla verification second time in a row has motivated us to continue enhancing the connectivity network for the customers,” Arvinder Singh Sachdev, business head – Delhi, Vodafone Idea said.
Vodafone Idea has completed network integration in East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad regions.
Vodafone Idea has set up 8400 Massive MIMO, Small Cells and TDD sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR.
Vodafone Idea offers 4G, 3G and 2G services through its network with 11,094 sites and 53.8 MHz of spectrum in Delhi NCR. The recent network initiatives have resulted in Vodafone 4G delivering fastest speeds in the metro.
Fastest 4G speeds in Delhi NCR is based on analysis by Vodafone of Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data of mean download speeds basis tests taken by 4G users using popular Speedtest app from October to December 2019.
