Zain to deploy Nokia 4G/5G Femtocell solution in Saudi Arabia

Nokia and Zain KSA have partnered to address mobile coverage gaps and enhance connectivity for enterprise customers by delivering the first 4G/5G Femtocell solution in Saudi Arabia and the MEA region.

This innovative approach involves deploying 4G and 5G Smart Nodes, supported by Nokia’s IP Security Gateway, Femto Manager, and End-to-End Delivery services. The solution offers a slim, highly optimized system that integrates into the Zain KSA network, utilizing a plug-and-play setup to reduce dependency on customer infrastructure. This approach ensures a cost-effective deployment with significant coverage improvements.

By deploying Nokia’s Smart Nodes, Zain KSA will provide robust and secure indoor 4G and 5G coverage for its enterprise customers, boosting customer loyalty and enhancing network reliability across various locations.
