Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Dell Technologies, Cisco and Lenovo are the leaders in the India x86 server market, according to IDC.
HPE has a server revenue share of 25.4 percent. Dell has 24.5 percent share in the Indian server market.
HPE registered few server deals from telecoms, manufacturing, IT and ITeS companies recording revenue of $67 million.
Key wins for Dell Technologies came from professional services, telecoms, banks, and high-tech semiconductor companies to reach revenue of $64.6 million.
Cisco, with a server revenue share of 8.4 percent and revenue of $22.3 million, is in the third position.
Lenovo came in fourth accounting for a revenue share of 6.6 percent and a revenue of $17.5 million.
The server revenue in India declined 2.8 percent to $299.6 million in 4Q19 versus $308.1 million in 4Q18, according to IDC.
Server spending from industry verticals such as banking, telecoms, and manufacturing grew 33.5 percent, 42.9 percent, and 18.4 percent respectively.
