Research agency IDC has released a chart showing the market share of Cisco Systems, Nokia, Huawei, Juniper Networks and HPE in the router market in India in Q4 2017.
The router market value in India reached $98.7 million in Q4 2017. Cisco leads the router market with 65.4 percent share in Q4 2017. Nokia is the number two router company in India.
Telecom operators have made investments in 4G deployments and VoLTE and conducted the regular refreshes to upgrade the network infrastructure fuelling the growth of router space. The government initiative to provide Internet to the rural areas will be a driving force for the router market.
