The chart recently shared by ITU shows forecast on mobile cellular subscriptions, LTE subscriptions, mobile broadband subscriptions, fixed broadband and Internet users for 2015 and 2020.
Mobile cellular subscriptions are expected to reach 9.2 billion, according to Ericsson Mobility June 2015 report.
LTE subscriptions are expected to reach 3.7 billion according to Ericsson, 2.5 billion according to GSMA and 3.5 billion as per ABI Research.
Mobile broadband subscriptions are anticipated to reach 7.7 billion or 85 percent of total subscribers, says Ericsson.
The number of fixed broadband, according to ITU, is 794 million in 2015.
The number of Internet users will reach 4 billion by 2020 from 3.17 billion in 2015, said ITU.
