Three UK appoints Belinda Finch as CIO

Three UK announced the appointment of Belinda Finch as its chief information officer (CIO), responsible for its Digital and ICT strategy.
Three UK CIO Belinda FinchBelinda Finch will be bringing together all existing IT functions at Three UK under one management team.

She will be responsible for delivering the final stages of IT transformation program, working with Three’s product teams to drive system improvements that will drive a better customer experience.

Belinda Finch previously held a group CIO and chief of staff role at Centrica, and 8 years in digital transformation roles at Vodafone.

In her new function, Belinda Finch will lead a team of 130 employees, with additional contractor and partner resources.

“Through working across all the functions at Three UK and bringing together all our IT capability into one team, we can deliver great customer benefits from new IT infrastructure,” Belinda Finch, chief information officer of Three UK, said.

Three also announces that Peter Gilson has taken on the role of director of RAN for Three UK.

Peter Gilson is responsible for the design, build and performance of Three UK’s network, using Three’s 100MHz of contiguous spectrum to deliver the UK’s fastest 5G network and enhance its 4G network.

Peter Gilson recently worked at Telefonica’s O2, managing the relationship with Vodafone and Cornerstone as part of their network sharing agreement.
