Singtel Forges Alliance to Launch Cross-Border Rewards Programme

Major telecommunications operators, including Singtel, AIS, Globe, HKT, Optus, Taiwan Mobile, and Telkomsel, announced a collaboration for the creation of an unprecedented cross-border rewards programme.
Singtel launch cross-border telco rewards programmeDesigned to enhance customer experiences while traveling across Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, and Indonesia, where the respective telcos are based, the initiative aims to provide greater value to eligible customers through exclusive perks and benefits.

The programme enables travelers to earn and utilize rewards, claim unique deals for various services including transport, dining, merchandise, and access customer support from their home telco while abroad. Scheduled for a phased rollout in the second half of 2024, customers will seamlessly access and redeem benefits through their individual telco apps during their travels.

Anna Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Business Development at Singtel, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences.

Pratthana Leelapanang, Chief Consumer Business Officer at AIS, emphasized the program’s global significance.

Darius Delgado, Head of Consumer Mobile Business at Globe, highlighted the programme’s aim to provide unique experiences beyond connectivity.

Matt Williams, Managing Director of Customer Solutions at Optus, sees the programme as a way to deliver compelling experiences to Australian travelers and those visiting Australia.

Tony Lin, Chief Consumer Business Officer of Taiwan Mobile, described the innovative rewards programme as a means to revolutionize travel convenience and customization for customers.

Derrick Heng, Chief Marketing Officer at Telkomsel, highlighted the programme’s potential to enrich international travel experiences for Indonesian youths while delivering added value to subscribers.
