Mediacom Rebrands MC22 to Strengthen Local Community Focus
Mediacom Communications is rebranding its local community network MC22 as Mediacom Local, reinforcing its focus on local journalism and community programming. The new identity will appear across television, digital platforms and social media starting August 19, while programming covering community events, public affairs, local sports and regional stories will continue. The company said the rebrand strengthens the connection between the local station and the wider Mediacom brand after more than 30 years of community involvement. The change does not affect customers’ cable, broadband or other services, and Mediacom Local will remain available to eligible subscribers as part of its local programming offering. Mediacom serves more than 3 million households and businesses across 22 states.
FS Expands Canadian Network Operations with Local Service Center
FS Canada has expanded its Canadian operations with a Toronto service center and dedicated Canadian website, strengthening localized ordering, fulfillment and customer support for networking and ICT customers. The Canadian site and localized ordering and shipping capabilities went live June 29, 2026. FS said the new model improves visibility into product availability and delivery expectations while providing support for customs clearance, shipment coordination, returns and technical services. Its first order processed through FS Canada completed shipment, customs clearance and delivery within four business days, demonstrating the intended efficiency gains. The Toronto center also connects Canadian customers with FS’s global sales, engineering, supply chain and technical teams, supporting enterprise, education, media and data center projects.
Vonage Helps Max Factory Double Active Customer Base Vonage, part of Ericsson, said Italian retailer Max Factory Group doubled its active customer base within one year after adopting Vonage messaging solutions. The retailer, which operates 48 stores across seven Italian regions, integrated the Vonage Messages API through WhatsApp and Vonage Conversational Connect across WhatsApp, RCS and SMS. The company also achieved a 65 percent read rate for its personalized email marketing campaign. The shift replaced less measurable printed promotional materials with targeted digital communications, allowing Max Factory to personalize promotions based on purchasing history, location and customer preferences. Centralized campaign management reduced manual work and operational errors while supporting stronger engagement and customer loyalty. The move highlights growing use of omnichannel messaging to scale retail marketing.
