India telecom spectrum auction update for 7 February: focus Delhi

Delhi has become the hot telecom circle during the fifth day of the India telecom spectrum auction. For 900 MHz band in Delhi, mobile operators’ provisional bidding price touched Rs 684.68 crore on Friday.

Demand for Mumbai and Kolkata for the efficient 900 MHz band was static.

Also, according to DoT officials, provisional bidding price for spectrum in the 1800 MHz band did not move up for most circles.

Active participation of telecom operators such as Reliance Jio Infocomm, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Reliance Communications, etc. was visible on the bidding floor, according to sources.
