Telecom spectrum auction update for Saturday

Saturday witnessed significant rise in the provisional bidding price for spectrum in select telecom circles for both 1800 MHz and 900 MHz with demand for Delhi shooting up to Rs 733.63 crore in 900 MHz band.

Circles like Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and UP (West) also witnessed rise in provisional bidding price in 1800 MHz band (Highlighted in the table below).

Operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Reliance Jio Infocomm, among others were active during the spectrum auction. Total number of rounds completed on the sixth day of spectrum auction was 42, according to information available on DoT website.
