GSMA updates keynote speaker list for MWC 2018

MWC 2018Telecom industry association GSMA announced the latest list of keynote speakers at Mobile World Congress 2018 being held on 26 February – 1 March 2018 in Barcelona.

New keynote speakers

Jeremy Fox, CEO, Atrium TV and chairman of DRG

Christopher Young, CEO of McAfee

Oren Jacobs, Founder and CEO of PullString

Rajeev Misra, CEO of SoftBank Vision Fund

Enrica Porcari, chief information officer and chair of the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster, World Food Program

Other keynote speakers

Sunil Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises and chairman of GSMA

Gavin Patterson, CEO of BT Group

Borje Ekholm, president and CEO of Ericsson

Mats Granryd, director general of GSMA

Kazuhiro Yoshizawa, president and CEO of NTT DOCOMO

Jim Whitehurst, president and CEO of Red Hat

Sigve Brekke, president and CEO of Telenor Group

Vittorio Colao, chief executive of Vodafone Group

MWC 2018 will address topics such as artificial intelligence, the evolution to 5G and next-generation networks, the digital consumer, immersive content and entertainment, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, regulation and policy, privacy and security, and sustainable development, among many others.

GSMA in a statement said that Boston Consulting, China Mobile, Continental, Deloitte, Essential, Telit, Toyota, Accenture, Alibaba, AT&T, Cisco Systems, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Facebook, Fujitsu, Google, HTC, Huawei, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, NTT DOCOMO, Nokia Solutions and Networks, Ooredoo, Oracle, Orange, Qualcomm, SAP, SEAT, SK Telecom, Telefonica, Verizon, Vivo, Vodafone, Xiaomi and ZTE, among others are some of the exhibitors at Mobile World Congress 2018.
