Deutsche Telekom reshuffles enterprise biz team

Deutsche Telekom has reshuffled its enterprise business team.

The enterprise business called T-Systems will have three operating departments: the digital, IT and TC (Telecommunications) divisions.

Each division targets its own growth areas from development through sales to delivery and assumes end-to-end responsibility.

Deutsche Telekom has also announced three heads for handling the three independent divisions. Reinhard Clemen will continue as the CEO of T-Systems.

Patrick Molck-Ude, earlier with Telekom Deutschland, will head TC unit, Ferri Abolhassan will look after IT business, while Vodafone executive Anette Bronder will join T-Systems as director of the new digital division.

T-Systems CEO Reinhard Clemens said: “Each division faces different challenges and will now acquire full business responsibility to serve customer demand competitively and cost-effectively.”

While IT customers benefit from economies of scale with operating performance, computing and storage capacity when it comes to moving to the cloud, the TC business entails switching to IP networks, product developments for cloud services and collaborative projects with local network providers. T-Systems founded the Digital Division for selected growth areas in the digital economy.

The TC division will expand the telecommunications activities with more reach in Germany and internationally. It aims to outperform the competition in mobile communications business, fixed-network services and the combination of both with uniform, international offers, product developments and better prices for business customers.

The IT Division meets the demand for IT services, systems integration and outsourcing.

The Digital division will support enterprises with their digitization strategies. It will develop scalable, platform-based and standardized products, and assume entrepreneurial responsibility for marketing as well.
