Huawei signs $120 mn telecom network deal with Airtel and Idea Cellular

Huawei Technologies has signed a $120 million telecom network deal with Bharti Airtel and its rival Idea Cellular.

The Huawei solutions, as per the deal, will assist both Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular, to optimize their network to handle data traffic and better customer experience.

A report in Economic Times today said the size of the network deal is $60 million each from Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular.

Earlier, Vodafone signed $150 million deal telecom with Huawei that competes with Nokia Networks, Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, ZTE, etc.
