GTPL Hathway Partners with Verimatrix to Enhance Mobile App and Website Security

Verimatrix, a leading provider of security solutions, has announced a collaboration with GTPL Hathway, India’s largest Multiple System Operator (MSO) and a prominent wired broadband service provider. GTPL Hathway will deploy Verimatrix’s XTD code protection technologies to bolster the security of its mobile app and website, further safeguarding its customer data.

With its extensive network, GTPL Hathway serves an estimated 11 million households in 22 states across India, providing digital cable TV and high-speed broadband services. The company relies on a vast network of over 40,000 partners to manage various customer-facing tasks, including new sign-ups, maintenance requests, and complaints. The implementation of the Verimatrix XTD solution strategically integrates protection for GTPL Hathway’s mobile app and website, ensuring the security of data used by GTPL partners.

Sofia Regojo, Chief Revenue Officer at Verimatrix, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “GTPL stands as an example of a growing number of organizations where Verimatrix provides both video security as well as cybersecurity that looks to maximize protections while also providing a stellar customer experience.”
