This new addition features hardware-accelerated capabilities and automated analysis tools designed to assist engineers in swiftly identifying anomalies and reducing time-to-market.

Engineers often face the risk of launching products prone to bugs and failures when using oscilloscopes that cannot accurately display signal details. The signal integrity of an oscilloscope significantly impacts an engineer’s ability to test and debug products with confidence. By providing superior scope signal integrity and built-in automated analysis tools, Keysight’s Infiniium MXR B-Series enables engineers to streamline test and debug processes, resulting in faster product launches.

Key benefits of the Infiniium MXR B-Series include:

Hardware-Accelerated Automated Analysis: The oscilloscope offers automated debug tools such as zone triggering, fault detection, real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA), and a 50 MHz waveform generator. These tools streamline troubleshooting and design compliance testing, ultimately reducing test time.

Truest Signal Representation: With an industry-low noise floor, an industry-high effective number of bits (ENOB), and exceptionally low system jitter, the Infiniium MXR B-Series ensures accurate visualizations and confident measurements.

Robust Design Development: The oscilloscope boasts an uncompromised update rate of over 200,000 waveforms per second (wfms/s), a fast sample rate of 16 Gigasamples per second (GSa/s), and bandwidth capabilities up to 6 GHz. This allows engineers to capture crucial signal events, accelerating symptom-to-root-cause analysis.

Robert Saponas, Vice President of the Keysight Digital Photonics Center of Excellence, noted, “The MXR B-Series leverages the same hardware acceleration ASIC as Keysight’s 110 GHz Infiniium UXR B-Series oscilloscopes to accelerate analysis, eye diagrams, and triggering with the excellent signal integrity you’ve come to expect from Keysight. Engineers designing complex systems can now get from symptom to root cause in a matter of minutes instead of hours.”

Keysight’s Infiniium MXR B-Series oscilloscopes provide engineers with a comprehensive, benchtop solution that conserves both bench space and budget. Additionally, all features of the MXR B-Series are upgradeable, allowing engineers to add capabilities as their requirements evolve.

This latest innovation from Keysight Technologies aims to empower engineers with the tools needed to streamline debugging, enhance signal analysis, and expedite product development, ultimately reducing time-to-market for their innovations.
