Ciena sales head Philippe Morin to step down

Ciena said Philippe Morin, its senior vice president of worldwide sales and field operations, will step down in October.

Morin joined Ciena, a network vendor for telecom service providers and enterprises, through its acquisition of Nortel’s Metro Ethernet Networks (MEN) business in March 2010. Morin served in various leadership positions for more than 20 years at Nortel.

Philippe played an instrumental role in Ciena’s integration of the Nortel MEN business and has made significant contributions toward growth and diversification.
