Tablet market share report for Q1 2014

IDC said large screen size smartphones are eating into the market share of tablets.

Tablet plus 2-in-1 shipments slipped to 50.4 million units in the first quarter of 2014, IDC said today.

2014 may be a challenging year for the tablet market.

With roughly two-thirds share, Android continues to dominate the market. Windows devices continue to gain traction thanks to sleeper hits like the Asus T100.
