Beetel launches Magiq Glide tablet at Rs 12,000

Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company and a
manufacturer and distributor of telecom and allied products, has launched Magiq
Glide.

 

The tablet is available in India at Rs 11,999.

 

Earlier, Beetel had successfully launched its Magiq and
Magiq II tablets in India.

 

The Magiq Glide is the latest addition to our successful
Magiq range of tablets which has been highly appreciated by the Indian
consumers. After an extensive market research and keeping in mind the feedback
received from our customers on our previous products we have come up with the
Magiq Glide. The new tablet has all the features available in our previous
products which our customers liked and additionally we have added a capacitive
touch screen to enrich the touch experience,” said Vinod Sawhny, executive
director & CEO, Beetel Teletech.

 

The Magiq Glide with SIM calling feature has a 7.0″ WVGA
screen, 2 MP front and rear camera and 8GB internal memory which is expandable
to 16 GB. The device has a 2200 mAh battery for long battery life. It supports
WiFi and 3G. Magiq Glide is powered by a 1 Ghz processor for faster processing
speed.

 

The new tablet runs on android 2.2 Froyo platform and
incorporates a capacitive touch screen and attractive design.

 

Recently, Beetel announced
the launch of Beetel GD-470, a dual sim 2.8″ full touch screen mobile
phone for the Indian market.

 

Beetel GD 470 is equipped with a 1.3 MP camera, FM Radio
and it can support expandable memory up to 8GB storage capacity. GD 470 is a
user’s delight for internet browsing and gaming and can also be used as a modem
for internet connectivity.
