Nokia Growth Partners invests in Innovis

Nokia Growth Partners has invested in Innovis
Telecom Services, a telecom networking service company in India.


The investment is aimed at fueling its growth
across Asia and Africa.


Nokia Growth Partners did not disclose the
size of its investment.


With presence in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia
and multiple countries in Africa, Innovis plans to expand to various markets in
Asia Pacific region. Innovis’ range of services includes network planning,
network deployment, project management (PMO), network optimization for voice
and data networks, managed services and consulting services. Innovis’
customers include telecom operators, telecom vendors and independent tower
companies.


“The telecom services industry requires
specific domain expertise with the potential to produce scalable, focused
companies globally,” said SK Acharya, chief operating officer of Innovis.


With $350 million under management, Nokia Growth Partners
invests in companies and people that are changing the global face of mobility,
communications and the Internet. Nokia Growth Partners offers a global
perspective and deep network in the mobile industry to help accelerate
company growth.


With the Nokia Growth Partners investment
fuelling our expansion plans, we will continue to leverage India to create

in India to create an optimized combination of remote and on-site delivery

Innovis.


With blue chip customers like Ericsson, Nokia
Siemens Networks, Huawei, Alcatel Lucent, AirTel, Axis Indonesia, MGear, Andrew
Wireless, Viom Networks etc., Innovis is poised to be a major participant in
the upcoming 3G and Broadband Wireless Access network build-outs.

increasing volume of data driven services is becoming important to all industry
