Amtrak prices education tablets at Rs 6,299

Amtrak Info System has launched its education tablets in Rajasthan.

Amtrak My Class BuddyA700 E and A722G E are designed to offer content for the young school going students.

The price of My Class Buddy A700 E is Rs 6,299. The company is offering free Play-mate key-board worth Rs 899 with this tablet.

The price of A722G E tablet is Rs 6,499.

These tablets are available in leading stationary shops, telecom and IT shops in Rajasthan.

The company is trying to cash in on the recent tablet initiative by the Rajasthan government. The state government will distribute cheques in 35,819 government schools to 3.5 lakh students who have secured 2nd to 11th position in the merit list of 8th class to buy tablets.

Amtrak says customers can book the tablets for Rs 500 and it will be delivered in 21 days.

To address customer issues, the company has 39 service centers in Rajasthan.

“Our vision is to develop a pure education solution for a school student by incorporating extra space for important content like school assignments, e-books of state board recommended course content, with cutting edge Cloud computing technology,” said Sandeep Arya, MD, Amtrak Info System.

The 7-inch My Class Buddy – A 700 E runs on Android 4.0 (ICS) and Cortex-A8 1.0 Ghz Processor. It features Mali 400 GPU and 0.3 MP front camera. It has a 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory and 3600 mAh Li-ion polymer battery.

The calling tablet My Class Buddy – A 722G E runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system and Cortex-A9 1.2 Ghz Processor. The new tablet sports 0.3 MP front camera and 2MP rear camera. It has a 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage and 3000 mAh Li-ion polymer battery.
