KR Mangalam group to set up Rs 200 crore mobile assembly units in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh

The KR Mangalam Group will invest Rs 200 crore for setting up two assembly
units in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.


 

We are setting up
two units in Uttranchal and Himachal Pradesh at a cost of Rs 200 crore for
assembling mobile handsets,” said the company’s CEO Keshav Arora.


 

The first unit would
be coming up in six months at Roorkee in Uttranchal, as the land for it has
been taken up and construction process has commenced.

 


The group launched
its mobile handset division with multiple range of mobile phones in Jammu and
Kashmir under the brand name of Chaze.

 


Initially, the
company has introduced multiple range of mobile phones in India and then we
will expand its horizon to countries like Russia, UAE, Africa, Srilanka and
Nepal. The company would also bring other products such as memory cards, tablets,
laptops, LCDs and LEDs soon.
