VAR Dynamics unveils free hosted BES connect service

VAR Dynamics, which delivers private-label Cloud business
applications to the IT channel, is moving to the front of the hosting market by
delivering a free, Cloud BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) offering to its
worldwide channel.

BES Connect can be used by people with either a BES Data
Plan or a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) plan from their own wireless
provider. Thus, there are no additional software licensing costs and no
client-access license fees.

For the end user, the only requirement is the actual
BlackBerry smartphone and the internet-enabled BlackBerry service plan from
their wireless provider.

The move by VAR Dynamics
gives Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value-added Resellers (VARs), IT
consulting firms and other solution providers the opportunity to immediately
begin earning 100 percent margin on hosted BES services sold to new customers.
The free BES Connect service requires configuration with a VAR Dynamics
Exchange mailbox.

Recognizing that the entire BES ecosystem is gradually
moving towards various low-cost or no-cost BES offerings, we wanted to get out
ahead of that trend on the hosting side,” said Matt Baldwin, chief technical
officer of VAR Dynamics.

From our own internal research, we are either the first,
or one of the first providers of hosted Exchange and BES to offer a free BES
service to the IT channel,” Baldwin added.

We believe this is a strong incentive to offer both
current and prospective partners to join our ReadyNow channel program and
launch a full suite of Cloud-based apps and SaaS offerings,” said Tony
Francisco, CEO of VAR Dynamics.

As the BES market transitions, VAR Dynamics’ partners
can now increase their BES margins up to 100 percent, or likewise offer their
new customers free BES services as a tool for customer acquisition,” Francisco
added.

With over 150 channel partners worldwide, VAR Dynamics
enables those partners to quickly build their Cloud services portfolios and
earn recurring revenue streams under their own brand.

Its ReadyNow channel platform includes pre-built,
customizable tools that partners can brand in minutes including their own
Control Panel, their own Customer Support Website, web marketing pages, SLAs,
Customer Proposals and other key tools.
