Arcadia Publishing selects EarthLink for integrated communications solution

EarthLink, an IP infrastructure and services company,
announced that Arcadia Publishing, a publisher in the United States with a
catalog of more than 7,000 titles in print and hundreds of new titles released
every year, selected EarthLink Business to implement a customized, integrated
communications solution, including Voice Over IP, broadband connectivity and
system equipment.

An EarthLink
Business customer since 2000, Arcadia’s leadership recognized the company’s
growing need for additional bandwidth to address the end-user side of its
business and the increased use of web-based applications.

With the company experiencing almost three-fold growth in
the past ten years, Arcadia has invested in additional internal systems and
added a Microsoft CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application. Arcadia
also saw many advantages to adding Voice over IP to its EarthLink solution,
including automation and reporting capabilities.

“We consider EarthLink Business as a real
partner,” said Paul Raffle, chief operating officer, Arcadia Publishing.

“We have been a customer for more than 11 years, and
did not ever contemplate going elsewhere. Obviously, communications services
are critical to our operation, so it’s important to us that an integrated
solution is available from one company,” Raffle added.

Arcadia’s new solution from EarthLink improved the
company’s productivity and performance in several key areas. Most critically,
it is fully integrated with Arcadia’s CRM applications which helps employees
more efficiently and effectively support end users.

For the company’s management team, more timely decisions
can be made with important information now available at their fingertips via
desktop dashboards.

“The EarthLink Business team worked closely with
Arcadia to design and implement a solution to best meet their business
objectives,” said Skip Hinshaw, vice president, EarthLink Business Systems
Sales.

EarthLink recently announced
that Blue Beacon International, a truck wash company with locations throughout
the United States and Canada, selected EarthLink Business to install its new
nationwide MPLS network connecting 118 locations across 38 states.
