M2M DataSmart collaborates with GenX Mobile to make M2M supply chain simple

Telecom Lead America: M2M DataSmart, a wireless data
service provider for the emerging machine-to-machine marketplace, and GenX
Mobile have collaborated to make the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) supply chain
simple for business sales moving forward.

With this collaboration, GenX Mobile, a technology
provider and manufacturer of hardware platforms  can now offer
customers an integrated M2M solution out-of-the box, by providing the hardware
as well as the airtime services as a joint sales strategy between both firms.

Furthermore, M2M DataSmart will provide airtime services
that can be structured and priced specifically to each M2M application,
combined with the highly configurable GenX Mobile solutions portfolio that will
allow CDMA data services to satisfy a wide variety of market and industry
requirements.

“By joining with M2M DataSmart we will provide a
managed wireless airtime service to commercial products of traditional OEMs
that have no wireless experience themselves. Hardware and airtime must be
hip-to-hip in the supply chain — but they have not been. In 2012, we are
fixing that problem in working with the team at M2M DataSmart,” said David
Mleczko, COO of GenX Mobile.

M2M DataSmart use Sprint’s nationwide 2G and 3G network
capabilities in the US as a CDMA Wireless Data Network Enabler (MVNE). The
company offers wireless connectivity and service platform pipeline for their
M2M devices.

“Each new M2M application faces implementation
challenges along the road to the marketplace. GenX Mobile and M2M DataSmart
together can help the developer overcome those challenges without being
disruptive to the business,” said David McCartney, COO for M2M DataSmart.

He added that the company’s core concept is to make M2M
simple through providing the best pricing at unit one and no contracts or
termination fees, which are designed around ease of entry for the M2M market.

M2M DataSmart and CAL Communications announce M2M marketing
agreement

Last year, M2M DataSmart collaborated with CAL
Communications to provide CAL Communications with the ability to offer M2M
airtime services for customers implementing M2M solutions.
