Motorola Solutions invests in Visage Mobile

Telecom Lead America: Visage, a provider of enterprise
mobility management (EMM), has secured Series C funding from Motorola Solutions.

 

The company said that Motorola Solutions, which is a
provider of mission-critical communication solutions and services for
enterprise and government, led the Visage financing round.

 

Existing investors, Palisades Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures
and Worldview Technology Partners also participated.

 

On the matter of securing Series C funding, Reese
Schroeder, managing director of Motorola Solutions Venture Capital said,
“Visage is producing differentiated enterprise mobility management
solutions, delivering analytics, efficiency and lower costs to businesses. With
its ability to leverage mobile data, Visage is enabling the adoption of
mobility in the enterprise.”

 

Visage has also announced that MobilityCentral its SaaS
solution for EMM has now been deployed with more than 200 enterprise customers,
including several Fortune 500 companies.

 

The company said that MobilityCentral was designed and
developed to address the business challenges resulting from the lack of
visibility and control in enterprise mobility.

 

“As Motorola Solutions continues to bring enhanced
mobility experiences to our enterprise customers, Visage Mobile’s
MobilityCentral will complement our broad partner ecosystem,” said Girish
Rishi, corporate vice president, Enterprise Mobile Computing, Motorola
Solutions.

Retailigence

 

A few months back, Motorola Solutions, through its
strategic investment arm Motorola Solutions Venture Capital invested in
Retailigence, a mobile marketing service for retailers focused on local product
and brand availability.
