Agilent, Aeroflex, JDS Uniphase, Ixia, and Anritsu key players in global wireless test equipment market

market of wireless test equipments, according to Research and Markets.

Global wireless test equipment market is expected to grow at
a CAGR of 14.6 percent over the period 2010-2014, the agency said in the report,
prepared by TechNavio.

Major players in the global wireless test equipment market
include Agilent Technologies, Aeroflex Holding, JDS Uniphase, Ixia, and Anritsu.

WiMAX and LTE are the major technologies contributing to the
growth of the market. Although LTE is in the nascent age, LTE equipment
manufacturers are using test equipment to ensure compatibility and standardization
of different LTE Equipment. WiMAX has been deployed in more than 140 countries
with more than 500 deployments.

WiMAX and LTE will increase the demand of test equipment for
R&D and installation uses.

While the wireless test equipment industry is witnessing
increasing investment in R&D, it is also facing several challenges,
especially those related to interoperability of multiple standards.

Worldwide, governments have opened the door for 3G and 4G
spectrum, which has accelerated the wireless network construction, and service
providers are trying to introduce different services which can be offered on
these networks.
