After Idea Cellular and Bharti Airtel slashed their internet tariff, Vodafone India is also planning to follow their lead and make an announcement in this regard within a couple of days, a top company official said on Tuesday.

“We have been offering value to our customers and we will continue to do so. We are working on it (matching the data tariff cuts by other telecom players) and will shortly announce it,” said Sunil Sood, CEO of Vodafone India.

He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event organised by the GSM Association in Delhi on Tuesday.

Earlier this week and last week, both Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular slashed their respective data tariffs by up to 67 percent. IANS
