Airtel 4G reaches 200 towns in Kerala

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced that its 4G service is available across 200 towns in Kerala state.

Bharti Airtel, the largest telecom operator in India, achieved the milestone of reaching 200 towns across the state in less than one year.

Chalakudy, a town in Thrissur district of Kerala, is the latest location to be added on the growing footprint of Airtel 4G services.

Airtel 4G offers uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images. Airtel is offering 4G services on a wide range of smart devices including mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles.

George Mathen, hub CEO – Kerala & Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel, said: “We introduced Kerala to 4G with our launch in August 2015. Today, in less than a year we have expanded our 4G footprint to 200 towns in the state enabling customers to enjoy internet capabilities.”
