Telecom industry Leaders and Chinese govt officials to attend GSMA Mobile Asia Expo

Telecom Lead Asia: The GSMA today announced mobile
industry leaders and the Chinese government officials will inaugurate the GSMA
Mobile Asia Expo on Wednesday, 20 June.


Mobile Asia Expo will be held 20-22 June at the Shanghai
New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC) in Shanghai.


Franco Bernabe, chairman of GSMA and chairman and CEO at
Telecom Italia Group will spearhead the opening ceremony along with Zhang
Xiaoqiang, Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission, Wang
Zhixue, Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology and Liu Lihua, Vice
Minister, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.


Shanghai City’s executive vice mayor Yang Xiong, will
also attend the opening ceremony with the chairman of China mobile and the
president of China Unicom.


Anne Bouverot, Director General of GSMA will also attend
the inaugural ceremony.


At the event, more than 200 companies are exhibiting
their products and services.  The three-day event will include a thought
leadership conference programme featuring visionary keynote presentations and
focused track sessions exploring mobile industry trends.
