The India router market revenue increased 140.4 percent to $214.9 million in the third quarter of 2018, according to the latest research report from IDC.
The growth in India router market was primarily driven by the service provider segment. Indian telecom operators made investment in network upgrades to meet the demands of 4G VoLTE footprint.
Cisco has 75 percent share in the Indian router market. Nokia with 11.2 percent, Huawei with 7 percent, Juniper with 5.5 percent and HPE with 0.4 percent are the other leading suppliers in the router market in India.
Cisco accounted to 3/4th of the router market in Q3 2018. Nokia and Huawei achieved high double-digit growth.
