HPE leads server revenue market share: IDC

Server market share based on revenue Q4 2017Technology vendors’ revenue in server market rose 26.4 percent to $20.7 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017, IDC report said.

HPE, Dell EMC, IBM, Lenovo and Cisco are the top five server companies based on their Q4 revenue from server business.
Server market share based on units Q4 2017Server shipments grew 10.8 percent to 2.84 million units. Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Huawei, Super Micro and Inspur are the top five server suppliers based on the shipments in the fourth quarter.
