XL Axiata sells telecom towers to Solusi Tunas for $460 million

Indonesia’s second-largest telecoms PT XL Axiata Tbk has sold 3,500 towers to PT Solusi Tunas Pratama for $460 million.

The tower deal is expected to be concluded by the end of the year, said XL Axiata in a statement on Wednesday.

The sale is aimed at paying off some of its debt after the company acquired telecom operator PT Axis Telekom for $865 million this year.
