Vodafone’s Paolo Bertoluzzo resigned

Vodafone Group’s chief commercial operations and strategy officer Paolo Bertoluzzo has resigned from the telecom network operator.

Paolo Bertoluzzo will be leaving Vodafone on 8 July 2016 to become group CEO of ICBPI, a financial and payment services company and the largest private equity investment in Italy.

Paolo Bertoluzzo joined Vodafone Italy in 1999 as Strategy and Business Development Director. He subsequently held various senior positions before becoming CEO of Vodafone Italy in 2008. Paolo joined Vodafone’s Executive Committee in 2012 as regional CEO for Southern Europe.

In 2013 he was appointed to his current position and Paolo has played a central role in the definition of the Group’s strategy and the design and direction of Vodafone’s group-wide commercial plans since then.
