Vodafone post-paid users get unlimited local, STD and free data

New plans for Vodafone RED
Telecom operator Vodafone India on Monday announced unlimited local and STD calling, free roaming and fixed free data plans to RED post-paid customers.

The starting price is Rs 499 per month. Vodafone is providing free 1 GB of non-4G data and 3GB of 4G data for Rs 499 in addition to unlimited calls.

Vodafone’s Rs 699 plan will give free 2.5 GB of non-4G data and 3 GB of 4G data. Vodafone India’s Rs 999 plan will offer free 5 GB of non-4G data and 8 GB of 4G data. The Rs 1,299 plan from Vodafone will offer 8 GB of non-4G data and 12 GB of 4G data to post-paid users.

Vodafone India also has Rs 1,699 plan offering 16 GB of non-4G data and 20 GB of 4G data. The Rs 1,999 plan offers 20 GB of non-4G data and 24 GB of 4G data in India, said Vodafone in a statement.

Vodafone will charge customers at 50 paisa / MB for further data usage after the data quota consumption. Vodafone is not offering these plans in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.

“Postpaid customers have higher usage of data and roaming. With the new Vodafone RED, there will be no more need to hold back. Our postpaid customers can enjoy a seamless all-in-one plan that addresses their data, roaming and calling needs comprehensively,” said Sandeep Kataria, chief commercial officer of Vodafone India.
