Vodafone customers in Kolkata can now port-in from home

Vodafone India has launched a new service for post-paid customers in Kolkata where one can join the network right from his/her doorstep and without having to change the number.

By simply calling the number 9830398303, a subscriber can request for a port-in to the Vodafone network and an executive will deliver the new SIM card at the customer’s doorstep.

After joining Vodafone network, customers can retain the same credit limit and access the service from its retail network consisting 26 Vodafone Stores and 139 Vodafone Mini Stores.

Commenting on this development, Anand Sahai, business head, Kolkata & Bengal, Vodafone India said, the newly launched “doorstep facility” in Kolkata is aimed at providing a seamless experience to the prospective customers in the process of Mobile Number Portability as well as save their precious time.
