Videocon Telecom today said its revenue rose 22 percent to Rs 585 crore in the third quarter of 2015-16.
The telecom network operator achieved 28 percent increase in subscriber base, and 16.5 percent improvement in its NRPM (Net rate per min) and 76 percent growth in Data Revenue in Q3.
In 2015, Videocon Telecom added 5.14 lakh subscribers in Punjab, 3.04 lakh in Haryana and 9.06 lakh in Madhya Pradesh – Chattisgarh circles.
Videocon Telecom posted operating loss of Rs 25.9 crore in Q3 fiscal 2016 against operating loss of Rs 44.4 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
“We are happy with our Q3 results, our top line revenue is up by 22 percent and GSM net revenue is up by 20 percent over same quarter last year. Our operating losses have gone down by 42 percent,” said Arvind Bali, director and CEO, Videocon Telecom.
Videocon Telecom said it will be making investments in the business and will offer 4G services in circles by exercising Spectrum sharing option.
