Uninor appoints new heads for telecom circles

Uninor has appointed new heads for its telecom circles in India.

The latest changes include leadership changes in its three circles and the appointment of circle business head for Assam.

KC Narendran, circle business head (CBH) of UP West will take over as CBH of UP East, the largest telecom circle for Uninor.
Satish Kumar Kannan will move to UP West as its CBH.

Shrinath Kotian, sales and distribution head of Maharastra and Goa, will replace Satish Kumar Kannan as the circle business head of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Anil Kumar will be the CBH of Assam, where Uninor will launch mobile services later this year. Before being elevated as Assam circle head, Kumar was the sales and distribution Head of Maharashtra and Goa circle.

“The current organizational changes are example of how Uninor believes in growing and developing its own people to take newer challenges,” said Vivek Sood, chief executive officer, Uninor, the 100 percent subsidiary of Telenor.

KC Narendran joined Uninor in 2008, and has served as CMO and head of sales & distribution in UP (W) before taking the new role.

Satish Kannan, the current CBH for Andhra Pradesh, was responsible for growing Uninor business to over 5.5 million subscribers in the circle.
