TIM names Nicola Grassi as head of Procurement

TIM announced the appointment of Nicola Grassi as head of Procurement — responsible for vendor assessment and management of procurement processes, monitoring markets for the purchase of products and services, and ensuring optimisation of requirements, operating and financial results.
TIM Brazil networkNicola Grassi, 56 years old, will report directly to TIM CEO Luigi Gubitosi.

Nicola Grassi worked in Operations at Italcable, which then became part of Telecom Italia’s International Services Department from 1991 to 1998.

Nicola Grassi joined Infostrada in 1998 and took over management of Network Engineering. Following the merger with Wind, from 2001 Nicola Grassi developed his professional career with responsible roles in the technological field. From 2006 until 2012 he was director of Network Development and then moved on to head the Information Technology Department. After that, he took over responsibility as CTIO until 2015, while also becoming a member of the Galata towerco (now Cellnex) Board of Directors.

Nicola Grassi has worked with IT services company Accenture.

Nicola Grassi in 2017 joined Ericsson where he became head of Digital Services for Italy and the South East Mediterranean Region.
