Telenor reveals Capex, revenue growth, subscribers in first-quarter

Telenor has revealed its earnings report – revenue, subscribers, Capital expenditure, ARPU, Opex – for the first quarter of 2024.
Telenor grows in AsiaTelenor has posted total revenue of NOK 19,457 million (up 2 percent), service revenue of NOK 15,773 million (up 6 percent), operating expenses of NOK 6,704 million and capital expenditure of NOK 3,137 million during the first quarter of 2024.

Telenor financial outlook for 2024:

Low single-digit organic growth in Nordic service revenues.

Medium single-digit organic growth in both Nordic and Group EBITDA.

Nordic capex to sales ratio of around 17 per cent.

Free cash flow of between NOK 9-10 billion before M&A and potential items for Group.

Telenor showed good momentum going into the first quarter with top-line growth in both the Nordics and Asia, says Sigve Brekke, CEO of Telenor.

Telenor Nordics and Telenor Asia delivered five and six percent growth in service revenues respectively in the first quarter of the year, while organic EBITDA growth ended at eight and five percent.
