Telecom Capex to grow more than 5% in 2021: Dell’Oro Group

Total wireline plus wireless telecom Capex is forecast to increase more than 5 percent in 2021, a research report by Dell’Oro Group said.

The increase in telecom Capex is reflecting a more favorable outlook in Europe, Japan, and the US.

The combined revenues of the carrier-related equipment makers tracked by Dell’Oro Group (Broadband Access, Microwave Transport, Mobile Core Network, Mobile RAN, Optical Transport, and SP Routers & Switches) increased approximately 7 percent in 2020. The research report did not reveal the specific Capex in 2020 and 2021.
