T-Mobile offers free DIRECTV NOW to attract AT&T customers

T-Mobile Czech Republic
T-Mobile is offering free DIRECTV NOW for one year — worth $420 — to AT&T wireless customers who switch to T-Mobile ONE plan.

The new wireless plan from T-Mobile will be effective from 16 December.

T-Mobile is offering free DIRECTV NOW and the DIRECTV apps stream on its advanced network that covers nearly every American.

“AT&T is so distracted by their new businesses and DIRECTV that they continue to ignore their 110 million wireless customers,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile.

AT&T customers need to activate two lines and bring their number to T-Mobile ONE to get DIRECTV NOW for one year. T-Mobile will give $35 monthly bill credit, the monthly cost of DIRECTV NOW, for 12 months.

If the customer does not like DIRECTV NOW — an AT&T product, they will get unlimited LTE data at a better price.

With Binge On, eligible Simple Choice customers can watch up to 3x more from any video streaming source, and they can stream DIRECTV NOW – plus more than 100 other video apps including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, DIRECTV and HBO Now – without using data.
