Swisscom appoints Walter Renna as CEO of Fastweb

Telecom operator Swisscom announced the appointment of Walter Renna as the new CEO of Fastweb.
Fastweb CEO Walter RennaWalter Renna’s appointment as CEO will be from 1 October 2023. Walter Renna will replace Alberto Calcagno, who has decided to step down at the end of September, after a 23-year career at Fastweb, including ten years as CEO.

Swisscom said Walter Renna joined Fastweb in 2008 in the Strategy team, which he headed until 2018. He then took over as COO; since 2021 he has been Head of Product Design and Delivery, responsible for marketing, communication, product development and IT.
