Reliance launches content-bundled data offer

Reliance Communications on Wednesday launched a new content-bundled data offer — ‘MoviNet Plan’ — combining movies, music and Internet access.

With the MoviNet Plan, subscription to the library of Hungama Play’s ‘Entertainment-on-Demand’ services comes free of cost, along with Any-Use Data. The MoviNet Plan blends data and content seamlessly, providing an easy interface and maximum entertainment quotien.

“With design simplicity, exciting content and great data benefits, our new MoviNet Plan will maximize the entertainment quotient and experience for our customers. This innovative pack is aimed at bridging the gap that customers face between data and content,” said Gurdeep Singh, chief executive officer, Consumer Business, Reliance Communications.

“Increasingly, entertainment is being consumed on mobile phones, and we are delighted to partner with RCOM to offer the benefit of our entertainment services, immersive features and a unique experience – all at the subscribers’ convenience; anywhere, anytime and in the preferred language,” said Neeraj Roy, founder and CEO, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment.

Reliance Communications said that the pre-paid MoviNet Plan starts at Rs 235 per month and gives 2.5 GB of Any-Use Data, including 1.25 GB of Any-Time Data access and 1.25 GB of night data.

The MoviNet Plan is also available to post-paid users at a monthly rental of Rs 450, in which customers get subscription-free access to an Entertainment-on-Demand library, along with 3GB of hi-speed data and 1,000 minutes of local and STD calls.
