MTS Capex drops 13% to RUB 83.6 bn in 2016

MTS Capex in 2016Russian telecom operator MTS today said its capital expenditure (Capex) fell 13.1 percent to RUB 83.6 billion in 2016.

The annual revenue of MTS rose 2.1 percent to RUB 435.7 billion in 2016 and increased 0.2 percent to RUB 111.6 billion in Q4 2016.

“We continue to pursue our 3D strategy by focusing on digital as we aim to use a variety of digital technologies to enhance our data transformation, differentiate ourselves from our competitors and enhance overall efficiencies and shareholder returns,” said MTS CEO Andrei Dubovskov.
