Telecom Lead India: mCarbon, a telecom solutions provider, announced that it
has enabled the technology backend for the launch of Airtel Gifting Services.

Living up to our philosophy to use technology to add
value to day-to-day lives of our customers’, we are excited to work as the
technology partner for the launch of Airtel Gifting Services. The service has
been launched as part of an integrated customer community platform mNet from
mCarbon, where it promises to use customer analytics and usage on the network
to enhance virility of the services and hence drive revenues from increased
usage,” said Rajesh Razdan, co-founder and director, mCarbon.

Technology provided by mCarbon played a significant role
in delivering a secure and robust technology infrastructure for Airtel Gifting
Services, thus allowing customers a simple and convenient user experience
towards leveraging this service.

Launched in December last year for prepaid mobile
customers, Airtel Gifting Services‘ allows friends on the Airtel network to send and receive talk
time to each other.

Furthermore, it allows customers to give away mobile
services’ gift packs with or without a special occasion. Even when out of
balance, Airtel prepaid customers can now also send an emergency call me back
SMS alert to a friend, This is possible even when the customer has no balance,
and is unable to even make a missed call.

The service allows an Airtel prepaid mobile customer to
send upto 5 call me back SMS alerts per month to other Airtel customers
absolutely free of cost.
