Forumtel expands mobile communication offering in Latin America

Forum Mobile announced that Forumtel, a US MVNO for the
travel industry is going to expand its discounted mobile roaming program to
other Latin American countries such as Chile and Mexico.

The solution provided by Forum Mobile was
initially launched in Uruguay and proved successful earlier this year by
Forumtelin
cooperation with Assist-Card, a leading international travel insurance and
assistance company, allowing travelers to enjoy affordable mobile communication
while roaming.

“We are extremely pleased that the Uruguay campaign
proved successful in saving travelers roaming charges. The partnership with
Assist-Card create travel communication platform that is both attractive and
accessible to all travelers in the launched countries,” said Ami Segal,
Forumtel Chairman.

The program enables travelers to receive tremendous cost
savings on their telecom services. For someone traveling overseas using their
current mobile network, calls could be as much as $1.99 a minute. One can save
up to 80 percent on their cell phone bill using Forumtel program based on Forum
Mobile’s solution.

“Our goal in Forum Mobile is to increase the value
of the services we provide to our MVNO customers and their end users. In
today’s telecommunications environment, advanced and affordable solutions have
become increasingly important. We will continue to lead the industry by
providing our customers with the fullest range of solutions,” said Benny
Yehezkel, executive VP of Forum Mobile.
